Food Distribution every Tuesday 11:00-1:00
Each year, our community comes together to share over three-quarters of a million pounds of food (that’s 375 tons) with more than 30,000 families (over 120,000 individuals). But food is just the beginning of what happens here.
At West Avenue Compassion, neighbors and volunteers work side by side to build stronger, healthier lives.
Together, we:
It takes about 150 volunteer roles each week to make all of this possible; from sorting food and tending the garden to welcoming neighbors and coordinating programs. Every person who joins in helps keep this community strong and moving forward.
Come be part of the WAC family, where neighbors work together to make sure everyone not only has enough; but has the chance to thrive.
Every DONATION you make goes directly back into our community. For each dollar given, we’re able to provide families with more than thirteen dollars’ worth of nutritious food, essential supplies, resources, connections, and healthcare—made possible through partnerships, volunteers, and the shared effort of neighbors caring for neighbors.
Each contribution strengthens the circle of support that helps our community thrive.
If you have questions, please call or text—we’d love to connect.
